Part-Time Restaurant Manager in Alta, Norway


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Part-Time Restaurant Manager to join our team at our restaurant in Alta. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient and high-quality service, and maintaining a positive work environment for our staff.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including food quality, customer service, and cleanliness
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
- Manage inventory and ordering of supplies to maintain adequate stock levels
- Train and supervise staff on proper service procedures, food preparation, and safety standards
- Create work schedules for employees to ensure adequate coverage during peak business hours
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop new menu items and improve existing dishes
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional manner, aiming for quick resolution
- Ensure compliance with health codes, sanitation standards, and safety regulations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in the food industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train employees effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, employees, and vendors
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Proficiency in Norwegian or English is preferred

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month. This is a part-time role with an average of 20 hours per week.
