Surveyor Assistant


Our company, a leading surveying firm in Salalah, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Surveyor Assistant to join our team. As a Surveyor Assistant, you will assist our team of surveyors in conducting land surveys and collecting data for various projects. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$.

Responsibilities:
- Assist surveyors in conducting land surveys using various equipment such as GPS, total stations, and levels
- Collect data and measurements accurately and efficiently
- Help with setting up and maintaining survey markers
- Support the team in preparing reports and maps based on collected data
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Must be a Canadian citizen or resident with valid work visa for Oman
- Basic understanding of surveying principles and techniques
- Ability to work full-time without any previous experience in the field
- Physically fit to handle outdoor work under various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to learn new skills
