Senior Accountant


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial activities of our company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This is a full-time position, open to Malayalees with proficiency in English.

Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial reports and analyze variances to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support decision-making by senior management
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations including timely payments of taxes
- Assist in the preparation of annual audit documentation and liaise with auditors as needed
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational company
- Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Excellent communication skills in English, fluency in Malayalam is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with accounting software preferred
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
