Freelance Interpreter


We are a language services company based in Vilnius, and we are currently seeking a freelance interpreter to join our team. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between clients who speak different languages. This position is suitable for students or individuals looking for part-time work.

Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services in person or via phone/video calls
- Accurately convey messages and information between parties
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Adhere to professional standards and ethics
- Conduct research on unfamiliar topics to ensure accurate interpretation
- Manage scheduling and logistics for interpreting assignments

Requirements:
- Fluent in English and at least one other language (preferably African languages)
- Proven experience as an interpreter or in a related field
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Excellent memory and note-taking abilities
- Knowledge of cultural differences and sensitivity towards diverse backgrounds
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

This position offers competitive compensation of 1700$ per month. We also provide visa sponsorship for international candidates.
