Interpreter (Indian/Kenyan) in Vilnius



We are in need of a skilled Interpreter who is fluent in both English and either Indian or Kenyan languages to join our team in Vilnius. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for accurately translating conversations and written materials between English and the designated language. Your role will involve working with a diverse group of individuals, including clients, colleagues, and vendors, to facilitate effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services during meetings, conferences, and presentations
- Translate written materials such as emails, documents, and reports from English to the designated language and vice versa
- Ensure accurate communication by actively listening and clarifying any misunderstandings
- Maintain confidentiality of all interpreted conversations and materials
- Assist with cultural understanding and sensitivity when necessary
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient interpretation services are provided at all times
- Stay updated on industry terminology to ensure accurate translation of technical terms

Requirements:
- Proficient in both English and either Indian or Kenyan languages (written and verbal)
- Previous experience as an Interpreter or similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interpret accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Biometric passport or valid work permit for Lithuania is required
- Ability to work full-time with flexibility for urgent jobs

Salary:
1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
