Heavy Equipment Operator


We are currently hiring a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Svalbard. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders to assist with various construction and maintenance projects.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues to the supervisor
- Follow project plans and instructions from the site supervisor
- Use GPS technology and other tools to ensure accurate grading and excavation
- Monitor fuel levels and refill equipment as needed
- Complete daily logs and reports of work performed
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols on the job site
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or industrial setting
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Knowledge of GPS technology and other relevant tools used in heavy equipment operation
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in outdoor environments for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
The starting salary for this position is $1200 per month. Additional benefits include free visa sponsorship, transportation, and accommodations.
