Job Title: Indian Restaurant Manager in Bungoma
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Indian Restaurant Manager to join our team in Bungoma. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Indian restaurant, ensuring high-quality food and service, managing staff, and maintaining a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including food preparation, service, and inventory management
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared and served according to traditional Indian recipes and standards
- Manage staff schedules, train new employees, and provide ongoing guidance and support to ensure excellent performance
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary ingredients and supplies
- Work closely with kitchen staff to develop new menu items and specials to keep customers interested
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant space at all times
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction
- Prepare financial reports, manage budgets, and ensure profitability of the restaurant
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager in an Indian restaurant is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a diverse team
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with ease
- Excellent communication skills in English is required
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if necessary
