Urgent Contract Mason in Lahore

A construction company in Lahore is urgently seeking a skilled and experienced Mason to join our team on a contract basis. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures such as walls, floors, and foundations using various materials including bricks, concrete blocks, and natural stones. This is a contract position with a salary of 1800$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be covered with bricks or other materials
- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto the surface using hand tools
- Lay bricks or other materials in straight rows, ensuring they are level and plumb
- Cut or trim bricks and other materials to fit around windows, doors, corners or pipes
- Use trowels and other tools to smooth out mortar joints between bricks or stones
- Check that the structure is aligned properly by using levels, plumb lines or string
- Repair cracks or damaged structures by replacing broken bricks or stones

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Excellent knowledge of different masonry techniques and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Physically fit with good manual dexterity
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
