Junior Architectural Technologist in Almada, Portugal


We are searching for a motivated and talented Junior Architectural Technologist to join our team in Almada, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of architectural plans and drawings for construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building codes and regulations, as well as experience working with drafting software.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation of architectural plans and drawings
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure design specifications are met
- Research and apply building codes and regulations to designs
- Utilize drafting software to create accurate and detailed drawings
- Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and make necessary revisions
- Conduct on-site visits to assess progress of construction projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in architectural drafting or design
- Proficient in drafting software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on residential or commercial projects
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software
