Senior Systems Analyst

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team in the city of Svalbard. As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing complex computer systems for our clients. You will work closely with clients and team members to identify business needs, gather requirements, and create solutions that meet their specific needs. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in computer science and information technology, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and team members to identify business needs and gather requirements
- Analyze current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement
- Design and develop efficient and effective solutions to meet client's business objectives
- Create technical documentation including system diagrams, flowcharts, and functional specifications
- Conduct testing to ensure the quality of developed systems
- Provide support during the implementation process
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during development or implementation
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and make recommendations for their integration into existing systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Experience with database management (SQL)
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Svalbard (open to candidates from any nationality)
