Senior Accountant

Our accounting firm in Al-Kuwait is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of our accounting department. You will work closely with our clients to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, as well as provide valuable financial insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department
- Manage and mentor junior accountants
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and other reports
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends and make recommendations
- Work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and provide strategic advice
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and legislation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in a senior role
- Knowledge of local and international accounting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel
- Fluency in English is required, knowledge of Arabic is a plus

Salary: 1100$ per month

Location: Al-Kuwait (open for candidates from India or Kenya)
