IT Support Technician

We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Technician to join our growing team in Svalbard. As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to our clients, both remotely and on-site.

Your main responsibilities will include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, setting up and maintaining computer systems and networks, installing and configuring software and hardware, and providing training to end-users. You must have a strong understanding of various operating systems, including Windows, MacOS, and Linux, as well as experience with networking protocols such as TCP/IP.

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position. A degree in computer science or a related field is preferred but not required. You must also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Additionally, candidates with accommodation preferences will be given priority.
