Executive Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Khasab, Oman. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations of our restaurant, ensuring high-quality food production and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and develop menus that reflect the restaurant's concept and meet the expectations of our customers
- Manage food costs, inventory, and ordering to ensure budgetary goals are met
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring proper techniques and standards are followed
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Monitor portion control and maintain consistency in food quality
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations of the restaurant
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu development
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Excellent leadership skills with ability to motivate and train a diverse team
- Strong knowledge of different cuisines, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Ability to create innovative menus while adhering to budget constraints
- Excellent communication skills in English (fluency preferred)
- Must have a valid biometric passport for overseas travel
