Executive Chef
As an Executive Chef in our high-end restaurant located in Herzliya, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all culinary operations. You will lead a team of talented chefs to create and deliver exceptional dishes that exceed our guests' expectations. Your creativity, leadership, and passion for food will be essential in maintaining our reputation as one of the top restaurants in the city.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Train and develop kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and service
- Develop new menu items and regularly review and update existing menus
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Create schedules for kitchen staff to ensure adequate coverage during business hours
- Work closely with management to control costs and stay within budget
- Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients at competitive prices
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Creativity in developing new dishes while also maintaining consistency with existing menu items
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in English (Hebrew is a plus)
- Indian nationality preferred but not required
Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
