Facade Engineer - Akron, USA


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facade Engineer to join our team in Akron, USA. As a Facade Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing exterior building facades that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also structurally sound and energy efficient.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop facade systems for a variety of building types, including commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather necessary information.
- Collaborate with architects and other professionals to ensure the facade design is aligned with the overall building design.
- Use advanced software programs to create detailed 2D and 3D facade models.
- Perform structural calculations to ensure the facade can withstand wind loads, seismic activity, and other environmental factors.
- Select suitable materials for the facade based on their durability, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
- Prepare detailed construction drawings and specifications for contractors to follow during installation.
- Monitor construction progress and provide technical support to resolve any issues that may arise during the installation process.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facade design or related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP2000).
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards related to facades.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.
