Facade Engineer


We are currently seeking a skilled Facade Engineer to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As a Facade Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of building facades, including the exterior walls, windows, and doors. This role requires experience in drafting and design, as well as knowledge of building materials and construction techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop facade systems for new buildings and building renovations
- Conduct site surveys to determine project requirements and identify potential challenges
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for facade systems
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other team members to ensure that designs meet safety regulations and aesthetic requirements
- Oversee the installation of facade systems on construction sites to ensure proper implementation of design plans
- Conduct quality control inspections during fabrication and installation processes
- Monitor project progress and provide technical support to resolve any issues that may arise
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in facade engineering

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facade engineering or related field
- Knowledge of structural analysis software such as ETABS or SAP2000
- Proficiency in CAD software for drafting and design purposes
- Strong understanding of building materials and construction techniques related to facades
- Ability to read architectural drawings
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of $1400 per month.

Experience Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in facade engineering or related field is required for this position.
