Library Assistant in St. Petersburg, Egypt
We are hiring a Library Assistant to join our team in St. Petersburg, Egypt on a contract basis. As a Library Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the librarian in managing the library and providing excellent customer service to library patrons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in cataloging and organizing library materials
- Help patrons locate materials and provide information about library services
- Process new library memberships and maintain member records
- Assist with circulation tasks such as checking books in/out and collecting fines
- Shelving and maintaining the organization of books, periodicals, and other materials
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on library equipment
Requirements:
- Must be an Egyptian national residing in St. Petersburg or willing to relocate at own expense
- Fluent in Arabic with basic English proficiency
- Prior experience working in a library or customer service role preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Salary: 1300$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Contract Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)
