Power Engineer



We are hiring a skilled Power Engineer to join our team in Malindi. As a Power Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical power systems. You will work closely with other engineers and technicians to ensure efficient and safe operation of power systems.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical power systems for various projects
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical recommendations for power system upgrades or modifications
- Perform system analysis, including load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination studies
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to power systems
- Provide technical support during construction and commissioning of new power systems
- Monitor the performance of existing power systems and implement improvements as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in designing electrical power systems
- Proficient in using simulation software such as ETAP or SKM
- Strong knowledge of national electrical codes and standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience working on renewable energy projects
- Knowledge of project management principles
