Job Title: Preservation Architect



We are in search of a highly skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Almada. As a Preservation Architect, you will play a crucial role in preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. Your main responsibility will be to assess the condition of buildings, develop preservation plans, and oversee restoration projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures, including site visits, research, and documentation.
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to local regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other experts to ensure the structural integrity of buildings during restoration.
- Oversee restoration projects, including managing budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Monitor progress and quality of work to ensure that it meets preservation standards.
- Prepare reports for clients and stakeholders on project progress and any potential issues or challenges.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices for preservation techniques.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Preservation Architect.
- Strong knowledge of historic preservation principles, techniques, and materials.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to historic preservation.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other architectural software.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
