Job Title: Formwork Specialist



Formwork specialists are responsible for constructing temporary structures used to support concrete during construction projects. They work closely with engineers and construction workers to ensure that the formwork is properly designed, erected, and dismantled.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine the formwork needed for a project
- Calculate the materials and equipment needed for the formwork, including lumber, plywood, steel bars, and scaffolding
- Construct formwork using a variety of materials such as wood, metal, or plastic
- Ensure that the formwork is level, plumb, and securely fastened to the ground or existing structure
- Coordinate with other workers on site to pour concrete into the formwork and properly cure it
- Inspect the formwork regularly for any damage or wear and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Remove formwork after the concrete has cured and dispose of it properly
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety regulations and procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship or trade school training preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in formwork construction
- Knowledge of different types of formwork systems
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1500 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Eschen.

Nationality Preference:
Preference will be given to candidates who are Indians or have experience working with Indian construction companies. However, all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

Language Requirement:
Proficiency in English is required for this position as it involves working with an international team.

Employment Type:
This is a contract job with potential for extension based on performance.
