Contract Merchandiser in Alta, Canada


We are hiring a Contract Merchandiser to join our team in Alta, Canada. As a Contract Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating and implementing merchandising strategies to increase sales and improve customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute merchandising plans for our products in various retail stores
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure product availability and visibility in stores
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking when needed
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor strategies
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and make necessary adjustments to merchandising plans
- Train store employees on product knowledge and proper merchandising techniques
- Maintain relationships with store managers to ensure compliance with merchandising guidelines

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in the retail industry
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
- Willingness to travel within the designated region as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
- Experience working with consumer goods or in the fashion industry
- Knowledge of visual merchandising principles
