Contract Database Administrator (La-Condamine)


We are seeking a highly motivated Database Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in La-Condamine. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, managing, and optimizing our company's databases. Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner
- Optimize database performance by conducting regular maintenance and tuning activities
- Monitor database usage and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new databases as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Knowledge of SQL and database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
- Proficient in data backup, recovery, security protocols, and performance monitoring tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex database issues
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of $1500 per month.
