Junior Python Developer


We are currently hiring a Junior Python Developer to join our growing team in Funchal. As a Junior Python Developer, you will work on developing and maintaining web applications using Python, Django, and other related technologies. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with minimal experience in the field to gain hands-on experience and grow their skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Python
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebase
- Follow best practices for software development and adhere to coding standards
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to continuously improve skills

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Knowledge of Python programming language
- Familiarity with web development frameworks such as Django or Flask
- Understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Basic knowledge of database management systems (SQL)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience with software development using Python
- Familiarity with Agile methodology
- Experience working on Linux/Unix systems
