Job Title: Seasonal Executive Chef in Dar Kulaib
We are searching for an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team in Dar Kulaib as part of our seasonal staff. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and managing kitchen staff. This is a seasonal position with a salary of 1300$ and includes accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and design menus that are both creative and in line with the restaurant's concept
- Manage inventory and ensure proper stock levels for ingredients and supplies
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to maintain high-quality food standards
- Oversee food preparation to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for cost control and revenue growth
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with staff, management, and suppliers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within a multicultural team environment
- Biometric passport is preferred but not required
- Open to all nationalities
