Radio Technician

A well-established radio station in Vilnius is seeking a skilled and experienced Radio Technician to join our team. As the Radio Technician, you will be responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of all radio equipment, ensuring high-quality sound for our listeners. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1800$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular checks on all radio equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed
- Ensure all equipment is properly set up for live broadcasts, recordings, and interviews
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Stay up-to-date with new technology and make recommendations for upgrades or replacements when necessary
- Train and supervise other staff members on proper use of equipment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of radio broadcasting equipment, including audio consoles, microphones, mixers, amplifiers, etc.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to solve technical issues quickly
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with industry safety standards
- High School Diploma or equivalent certification in electronics or related field

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a radio station environment preferred
- Familiarity with digital audio editing software
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
