QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues. In this role, attention to detail is essential as you will be conducting both manual and automated tests to ensure the highest level of product quality. Your strong analytical skills will also come into play as you analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvement. We are seeking a candidate who is proficient in testing methodologies and tools, has experience with agile development processes, and is able to work independently as well as in a team environment. This full-time position offers a salary of $1600 per month in our Akron office.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
- Familiarity with testing methodologies (black-box, white-box, functional, etc.)
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Cucumber
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python
- Experience with agile development processes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred:
- Experience working in software development or IT industry
- ISTQB certification
- Familiarity with DevOps principles
- Knowledge of SQL databases
