We are seeking a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Svalbard, Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our company's network and computer systems, ensuring their security and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Install and configure hardware and software for network systems
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control for network resources
- Conduct regular maintenance of servers, routers, switches, and other network equipment
- Maintain data backups to ensure data security in case of system failures
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models as needed
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to implement new technology solutions
- Provide technical support to employees regarding network or system-related issues

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP) and operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux)
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware)
- Familiarity with cloud computing services (e.g. AWS)
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify root causes of issues and provide timely solutions
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month for this full-time position.
