Indian Executive Chef in Clairvaux (Seasonal)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Clairvaux for a seasonal position. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and create innovative menus that showcase Indian cuisine while also catering to dietary restrictions and food allergies
- Oversee all food preparation and ensure high quality and consistency in taste and presentation
- Train and manage kitchen staff to maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and efficiency
- Control food costs by managing inventory, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
- Maintain a positive work environment by fostering teamwork, open communication, and professional development of staff
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine with the ability to create authentic dishes using traditional techniques and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a diverse team
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to effectively interact with guests from different backgrounds
