We are seeking an experienced Turner to join our team in Split, Croatia. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools to shape metal parts and components according to specifications. You must have prior experience in a similar role and be familiar with using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.

Salary: 1400$ per month

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Turner
- Proficient in operating and maintaining various machine tools
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments and hand tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Fluent English speaker (knowledge of Croatian language is a plus)
- Valid work permit for Croatia (free visa will be provided if needed)
- Indian nationality preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

- Set up, operate, and maintain machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, etc.
- Study blueprints or technical drawings to determine the sequence of operations needed to fabricate metal parts or components
- Use precision measuring instruments to check dimensions of finished parts for accuracy
- Adjust machine controls as necessary to ensure proper functioning
- Monitor machines during operation to detect any malfunctions or defects
- Replace worn or broken tools as needed
- Maintain a safe working environment by following safety procedures and wearing appropriate protective gear
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production processes
