Turner - Metal Machinist


We are looking for a skilled Turner - Metal Machinist to join our team in Fonvieille. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating metalworking machines to produce precision metal parts. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various types of metals and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate metalworking machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine specifications for parts
- Measure and mark dimensions on workpieces using precision measuring instruments
- Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for each operation
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with machinery or production processes
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Turner or Metal Machinist
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Experience working with various types of metals such as steel, aluminum, and brass
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials when necessary

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per month.

Location:
This is a contract job located in Fonvieille. Accommodation is not provided, so the ideal candidate should already have their own accommodations in the area. This job is suitable for men.
