Instrument Technician

We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Jeddah. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in instrumentation and be able to troubleshoot, repair and maintain various types of instruments used in industrial settings. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for calibrating, testing, and inspecting instruments to ensure they are functioning properly. You will also be required to perform scheduled maintenance and respond to emergency breakdowns in a timely manner. This position requires someone with excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Candidates with experience in the oil and gas industry will be given preference.

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, level indicators, etc.
- Perform calibration, testing, and inspection of instruments to ensure accuracy
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities
- Respond to emergency breakdowns promptly and efficiently
- Install new instruments as needed
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers on projects
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in instrumentation technology

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician
- Strong understanding of instrumentation principles and equipment
- Experience working with various types of instruments used in industrial settings
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals
- Physically fit to perform tasks such as climbing ladders or working in confined spaces
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if needed
