Indian Chef in Ashdod
We are seeking a skilled Indian Chef to join our restaurant team in Ashdod. As a chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic Indian dishes, managing the kitchen staff, and maintaining high food quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Indian dishes according to established recipes
- Create new menu items and regularly update the menu
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques and food safety procedures
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of ingredients to ensure freshness and availability
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with other chefs to plan special events or promotions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Indian Chef or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, spices, and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills for efficient food preparation during peak hours
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (Hebrew proficiency is a plus)
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this full-time position. Other benefits may be provided based on experience.

This position is located in Ashdod, one of Israel's largest ports with a diverse population. Our restaurant is located near the beach, offering beautiful views while you work.
