Job Title: Instrument Technician


We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Os, Norway. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing various types of instruments and control systems in our facility. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of $1300 per month and does not include accommodation. All nationalities are welcome to apply for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate and maintain instruments and equipment used in production processes
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in instruments or systems
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of instruments
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to optimize instrument performance
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, etc.
- Proficient in reading technical manuals and schematics
- Familiarity with PLCs, DCSs, SCADA systems is preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
