Pastry Chef for Indian Cuisine

We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at a popular Indian restaurant in Jerusalem. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries that complement our Indian cuisine. You will work closely with our head chef to develop new dessert menu items and ensure that all desserts are made to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Pastry Chef in an Indian restaurant, a passion for creating unique desserts, and strong knowledge of Indian flavors and ingredients. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1200 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare desserts and pastries according to established recipes and standards
- Develop new dessert menu items that complement our Indian cuisine
- Ensure all desserts are made to the highest quality and presentation standards
- Maintain inventory of pastry ingredients, equipment, and supplies
- Work closely with the head chef to coordinate menu planning and execution
- Train junior pastry chefs on proper techniques and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Pastry Chef in an Indian restaurant or similar establishment
- Diploma or degree in culinary arts or pastry making preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of Indian flavors, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique dessert recipes
- Attention to detail with excellent plating skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
- Must be eligible to work in Jerusalem
