Merchandiser - Al Ahmadi, Kuwait



As a Merchandiser in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait, you will be responsible for promoting and selling products to customers in retail stores. You will work closely with vendors and retailers to ensure product availability and visibility, as well as monitor inventory levels. Your goal will be to increase sales and profitability by creating attractive displays, implementing marketing strategies, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with store managers and staff to ensure product placement and availability
- Conduct regular store visits to check inventory levels, product displays, and competitor activity
- Create visually appealing displays that highlight featured products and promotions
- Implement marketing plans for new product launches or seasonal campaigns
- Train store staff on product features and benefits to enhance their selling skills
- Monitor sales performance of each store and provide feedback for improvement
- Collaborate with vendors to negotiate pricing, ensure sufficient stock levels, and resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Stay updated on industry trends and consumer preferences to make informed recommendations for product line development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in merchandising or retail sales, preferably in the consumer goods industry
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be physically able to move heavy merchandise when setting up displays
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Salary: $1300 per month (tax-free) + commission on sales
