Surveying Technician
We are hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Surveying Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate must have experience in land surveying and be proficient in using surveying equipment and software. As a Surveying Technician, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data, creating maps and reports, and assisting with field surveys. This is a full-time position based in Dickirch, with a salary of $1800 per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys using traditional and modern surveying methods
- Operate and maintain surveying equipment such as total stations, levels, GPS receivers, and data collectors
- Process data collected from surveys using specialized software
- Prepare accurate maps, plans, and reports based on survey data
- Assist with boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking, and other land surveying projects
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project goals are met
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in surveying or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in land surveying
- Proficiency in using total stations, levels, GPS receivers, and data collectors
- Experience with AutoCAD or other CAD software is a plus
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of German or French is a plus)
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
