DevOps Developer



We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Developer to join our dynamic team in Svalbard. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our company's software infrastructure. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the smooth deployment, monitoring, and scaling of our applications.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software infrastructure using DevOps principles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy applications
- Automate processes for efficient software delivery
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Implement security measures for protecting data and applications
- Ensure continuous integration and delivery through testing and code reviews
- Update existing systems with new features and enhancements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a DevOps Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and web server technologies
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git or SVN

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
and container orchestration
technologies such as Mesos or Swarm
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Nagios or Prometheus
and logging tools like ELK stack
(Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
in a timely manner

Salary: 1600$ per month

Location: Svalbard (accommodation provided)
