Fitter - Industrial Equipment Repair and Maintenance Specialist (Ashdod, Israel)


We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team in Ashdod, Israel. As an Industrial Equipment Repair and Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining industrial equipment used in manufacturing and production processes. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine maintenance tasks on industrial equipment such as conveyor systems, motors, pumps, and other machinery
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with equipment to determine the root cause of malfunctions
- Repairing or replacing faulty components using hand and power tools
- Performing inspections and tests to ensure equipment is functioning properly
- Reading and interpreting technical manuals and diagrams to understand equipment specifications
- Collaborating with other team members to identify opportunities for process improvements

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Fitter in an industrial setting
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of tools and techniques used in equipment repair
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights if needed
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.
