Job Title: Contract Tester

As a Contract Tester, you will be responsible for testing and evaluating software applications to ensure they meet quality and functionality standards. You will work on various projects, collaborating with developers and other team members to identify and report bugs and issues. This is a contract position, so you must be able to work independently and efficiently, meeting project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of software applications
- Develop test cases and test plans based on project requirements
- Execute test cases and document results
- Identify, isolate, and report software defects
- Collaborate with developers and other team members to troubleshoot issues
- Verify bug fixes before closing issues
- Participate in project meetings to provide testing progress updates

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Tester or similar role
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience designing test cases and test plans
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques
- Knowledge of bug tracking systems like JIRA or Bugzilla
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium or Appium
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python

Location: The United States (remote)

Salary: $1300 per month (based on experience)
