Junior Florist
We are a busy floral shop in Almada looking for a passionate and creative Junior Florist to join our team. As a Junior Florist, you will be responsible for assisting our senior florists in creating beautiful floral arrangements and maintaining the overall appearance of our shop.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior florists in creating stunning floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, and corporate events
- Prepare flowers by trimming stems, removing thorns and leaves, and arranging them in vases or bouquets
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop by sweeping, dusting, and arranging displays
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering any questions related to flowers or arrangements
- Keep track of inventory levels and assist with ordering new supplies when needed
- Participate in workshops or training sessions to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry trends
Requirements:
- Passion for flowers and design
- Previous experience working with flowers is preferred but not required
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic knowledge of flower care and different types of flowers
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
Salary:
We offer a starting salary of $1500 per month with potential for growth within the company.
Location:
This position is based in Almada, Portugal.
Accommodation:
This is a full-time position without accommodation provided. Candidates must have their own housing arrangements.
Experience Required:
While previous experience working with flowers is preferred, we welcome freshers who are eager to learn and have a passion for floristry.
