We are seeking a skilled and experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Clairvaux, France. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate and move materials at construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to dig trenches, foundations, and other earthworks according to project specifications
- Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Use hand signals or radio communication to coordinate with ground crew during excavation
- Maintain equipment by conducting regular inspections and reporting any issues or malfunctions
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing attachments and lubricating parts as needed
- Keep accurate records of daily activities, including the amount of materials excavated and the time spent on each task

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- At least 2 years of experience operating excavators in a construction setting
- Valid heavy equipment operator license/certification
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to excavation work
- Ability to read construction plans and specifications for accurate excavation work
- Physical stamina and strength to operate heavy machinery for long periods of time

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with GPS systems for precision excavation work
- Familiarity with various types of heavy equipment used in construction projects
such as bulldozers, loaders, and dump trucks
- Bilingual (French/English) is a plus but not required
