Job Title: Construction Project Manager
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in Bungoma. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all stages of construction projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and oversee construction projects from start to finish
- Develop project timelines and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders
- Oversee the hiring of contractors, subcontractors, and other workers
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
- Monitor progress of projects and make adjustments as needed to ensure timely completion
- Manage the procurement of materials and equipment needed for each project
- Prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders
- Address any issues or delays that may arise during construction process
- Ensure quality control by conducting inspections at various stages of construction
- Manage relationships with clients, vendors, and other project stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- At least 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager
- Extensive knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Strong leadership skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera P6
- Proven track record of successfully completing construction projects on time and within budget
Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
