Information Security Analyst


We are hiring an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Alta, Norway. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our organization's data and information systems from potential threats. This includes identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and monitoring for any suspicious activity.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect against cyber attacks
- Monitor networks and systems for any unusual activity or breaches
- Perform ongoing vulnerability assessments to ensure all systems are up to date with the latest security patches
- Investigate and respond to any security incidents or breaches
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure all systems are properly configured for maximum security
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies in order to continuously improve our organization's security measures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in information security analysis
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, etc.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (ex: GDPR)
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nmap or Nessus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of $1400 per month.
