Job Title: Information Security Analyst


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Alta, Norway. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our company's data and information systems from potential threats and breaches.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential security issues
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to safeguard company data
- Monitor networks, systems, and applications for any suspicious activity or potential threats
- Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies
- Work closely with other IT teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the company's infrastructure
- Provide training and support to employees on security best practices
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security analysis or a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption methods, and other security tools.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus or Qualys
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify potential risks and develop effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other relevant certifications are preferred.

Salary: 1800$ per month without accommodation.
Location: Alta, Norway.
