Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex problems and improve our products. You will work closely with data scientists and software engineers to gather requirements, build datasets, and deploy models into production.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop machine learning models and algorithms
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data for model training
- Collaborate with data scientists to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Deploy machine learning models into production
- Monitor model performance and make necessary improvements
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or R
- Experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and statistics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred:
- Experience with deep learning techniques such as Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) or Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN)
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Experience working with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark
