Nutrition Assistant

Our healthcare facility in Alta is seeking a motivated Nutrition Assistant to join our team. As a Nutrition Assistant, you will work closely with our registered Dietitian to provide nutrition care for our patients. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Dietitian in conducting nutrition assessments and creating individualized meal plans for patients
- Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to meal plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
- Keep accurate records of patient information and progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field
- Must be a licensed or registered Dietitian (or eligible for licensure/registration)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks efficiently
