Registered Dietitian in Alta, Norway

We are seeking a knowledgeable Registered Dietitian to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Registered Dietitian, you will be responsible for assessing and managing the nutritional needs of patients in our facility. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized nutrition plans for patients based on their medical conditions and dietary restrictions. Additionally, you will educate patients on healthy eating habits and provide ongoing support to help them achieve their health goals.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting nutritional assessments and developing personalized nutrition plans for patients
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients
- Providing nutrition education and counseling to patients on healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes
- Monitoring patient progress and making necessary adjustments to nutrition plans as needed
- Maintaining accurate records of patient information and progress
- Staying up-to-date on the latest research and developments in the field of dietetics

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field
- Current registration as a Dietitian with the Norwegian Board of Health or eligibility for registration
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Registered Dietitian in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of nutrition principles, dietary requirements, and food science
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Must be able to provide evidence of ongoing professional development

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of 1000$ per week. Accommodation can be provided if needed.
