Preservation Architect

Our architecture firm in Balzers is seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings while maintaining their architectural integrity. You will work closely with clients, engineers, and construction workers to develop plans and oversee projects.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings to determine preservation needs
- Develop detailed plans and specifications for restoration projects
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project goals are met
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities
- Supervise construction workers during restoration projects
- Monitor progress and quality of work to ensure it meets preservation standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of all project activities
- Provide guidance and advice to clients on preservation techniques and materials

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in preservation architecture
- Extensive knowledge of architectural history, materials, and techniques
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1200/month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Balzers (with potential for international travel)
