Job Title: Registered Nurse - Svalbard

As a Registered Nurse at our healthcare facility in Svalbard, you will play a vital role in providing quality care and support to patients. You will work alongside a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to assess and monitor patient health, provide treatment and medication as prescribed by doctors, and educate patients and their families on proper self-care techniques. Your responsibilities also include maintaining accurate patient records, communicating with doctors and other medical staff, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients.

Requirements:
- Valid nursing license in Svalbard
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a nurse
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work day, evening, or night shifts as needed

Responsibilities:
- Assessing patient health status through physical examination, medical history review, and diagnostic tests
- Collaborating with doctors and other medical staff to create individualized care plans for patients
- Administering medications and treatments according to doctor's orders
- Educating patients on disease prevention, self-care techniques, and medication instructions
- Monitoring patient progress and reporting any changes or concerns to doctors
- Maintaining accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols
- Communicating with patients' families regarding their loved one's condition and treatment plan

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this full-time position. The salary may vary based on experience level.
