We are hiring a highly qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team in Mombasa. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for organizing and managing the library resources, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, and promoting literacy and reading programs within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain the library's collection of books, magazines, newspapers, and other materials.
- Catalogue new materials and maintain accurate records of items borrowed and returned.
- Assist patrons with locating materials and provide research assistance.
- Develop and implement reading programs for children, teens, and adults.
- Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum-related activities.
- Promote library services through outreach programs and social media platforms.
- Train library assistants on library procedures and policies.
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in library science.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Librarian.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact with patrons of all ages.
- Proficient in using technology for cataloguing, research, and social media promotion.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Salary: $1500 per month
